Icom IC-705 Ham Radio Overview

The Icom IC-705 is a very compact, feature packed radio small enough for portable or mobile use while still having all of the Bells and Whistles of a base station. The IC-705 operates on HF / VHF and UHF however it is limited to only 10W output power which may put a few people off of purchasing the unit. One of the features I love is the huge 4.3 inch colour touch screen making it very easy to operate. A backpack is also available for this unit with everything you could possibly need to hit the field. Priced at around $1800AUD this great little radio is well worth taking a look at.
