The Midland 8001 XT is a great looking old school CB radio which is now very sort after and when available command quite a reasonable price. The radio comes with all of the sort after features such as Mic gain control, built in SWR meter and the huge bonus of a frequency counter.
The bright green frequency counter really stands out and is a real feature of this radio. Other features of this radio include a built in Echo and also the ability to use FM mode. Overall this CB is a great prize to anyone’s radio collection and it’s RX and TX abilities are extremely good, a real winner.
Collector’s Dream !
The Midland 8001 XT CB Radio really is a collectors dream. It has a great layout, built in frequency counter and Tx and Rx is superb. They are becoming very hard to find now and this has increased their value considerably.
